A woman who had a one night stand with a man she met in Coppers 12 years ago, anonymously contacted Ryan Tubridy for help in searching for her son's father.
The woman sent an anonymous email to Ryan Tubridy’s RTÉ 2fm show this morning, in the hope that listeners would be able to help her track down her son's unaware father.
Needless to say, the lady's memories from the night are scarce but she does know that is was on a Friday night, August 2nd, 2003 and she was in Dublin to attend the Laois v Armagh match on the Saturday. Herself and her friends went to Coppers for the night and that's where she met the Armagh man she thinks is called Seán and she believes was wearing an earring.
They went back to Bewley's Hotel in Ballsbridge and spent the night together but the following day, went their separate ways to the match and she never tried to contact him to tell him about their son until now.
The woman did stress that she is not looking for anything from the man she just wants him to know he has a son.
