It may be the Irish internet home of satire and farce but this is a real life thing that actually happened in Waterford yesterday.
The Cork road was flooded and hence one man got a nasty shock when he tried to get back to his grief stricken car he had parked in what one would presume were somewhat floodless conditions earlier. Faced with the inevitably of getting his feet soaked, he channeled his inner 'Floor is Lava' expertise and sort of rowed himself over on a trolley.
Meanwhile the staff at Iceland were seriously sound to a kid who was left stranded in their car on the same Cork Road.
