The MMA world is buzzing with anticipation for UFC 197 after it has become all but clear that The Notorious Conor McGregor will take on UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos and attempt to become the first ever fighter to hold two belts in different divisions at the same time.
Understandably Conor McGregor's fans have been thrilled with the news that the proposed fight would be only two months away after what seemed like an eternal wait for him to fight Jose Aldo, but it's actually not good news for everyone.
The fight would take place in the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and while there are no issues with the venue itself, the fact that it is in Las Vegas again will become a very real problem for those who made the trips over for UFC 189, where Conor defeated Chad Mendes, and UFC 194 where he took down Aldo.
Enter Colly Maguire, who issued a personal appeal to the champ to re-consider the location on McGregor's official Facebook page, and you've got to admit he has a point!
And he wasn't the only one who faced difficulties with the idea of Vegas looming:
And some will have to travel from even further..
It's clear that Conor is going to be well supported no matter what happens, but there's an awful lot of people who are going to be dipping deep into their savings to be there.
And don't forget we've got Euro 2016 to look forward to as well!
