This is comedy gold and so Irish it's fantastic. On the nine o'clock news on RTÉ One last night a clip from the launch of the Rose of Tralee featured the hopefuls holding presenter Dáithí Ó'Sé for a group photo opportunity.
Everything looked to be going smoothly until they ended up dropping him on his arse, as you do. Typical that it would be shown on our national news broadcast. It made for excellent viewing but poor Dáithí all the same. Priceless.
Well that brightened up our Wednesday anyway.
