The New X-Men Trailer Has Landed And The End Of The Word Is Nigh

The latest batch of X-Men films are, in this writer's arrogant opinion, the best set of comic book movie franchises out there at the moment and it already looks like they're on a hope run with X-Men: Apocalypse.

Oscar Isaac, Sophie Turner and Olivia Munn are the stand-out new additions to a cast that already boasts the likes of Michael Fassbender, James McEvoy and Jennifer Lawrence.

Isaac plays the role of Apocalypse himself and needless to say, the end of the world is coming with him.

If you're looking for a series of films to watch over Christmas then the X-Men series is not a bad place to start. The original is grand but the first two offerings of the X-Men: First Class trio are head and shoulders about the rest.

While this may be director Brian Singer's last X-Men film, with the likes of Deadpool and Gambit to come in 2016, the franchise will undoubtedly live on for quite a while yet.
