The Underground System They Use To Park Bicycles In Japan Is Absolutely Amazing

Anyone who has cycled in any of Ireland's cities will know not only how difficult it is to find a suitable spot to park your bike up for the day, but the constant fear that it will be stolen which follows you for the entire time you do whatever it is you are doing.

They do not have this problem in Japan, where underground bicycle storage units hold bike's safely and in high numbers, and this video shows you just how impressive the system is.

A bit more advanced than the Dublinbikes scheme I think it's fair to say. Could you imagine this at the end of Grafton Street? Or in Eyre Square?

The Japanese, they've thought of it all.
