It was Brendan O'Connor's final Saturday Night Show last night, and it's likely that people might not forget it for some time.
Not because O'Connor is departing, but down to one of the strangest interviews that has ever been broadcast in Ireland. Restaurateur Dylan McGrath, who has featured on the RTE version of "Masterchef", was the interviewee, but from the moment that O'Connor introduced him something was always off.
He's actually on a lot of painkillers, so this should be good.
It's clear right from how McGrath walks onto the stage that he's not right. Despite this, the interview lasts for 15 bizarre minutes.
If you don't believe me when I tell you it's strange, here's how twitter reacted to it:

That was very sad . Dylan McGrath was deeply troubled in that interview and shouldn't have been let on the air @RTESatnightshow

Can't believe rte and Brendan o Connor let Dylan McGrath on #satnightshow. Very much not with it. It's national tv. Not big brother!!

Brendan O'Connor needs to wrap up this Dylan McGrath interview. It's starting to get uncomfortable. #satnightshow
