The Dreaded Voice From The Irish Aural Exam Finally Gets a Dance Remix

The Dreaded Voice From The Irish Aural Exam Finally Gets a Dance Remix

They were the voices that will haunt any student who studied Irish in secondary school; the voices from the Irish Aural exams, that brought fear to most and glee to the very few who could understand a blessed word that was said.

While people may not have had a clue of the content of the Aural exams, one thing we will never forget is the line 'Léigh anois go cúramach ar do scrúdphápeir, na treoracha agus na ceisteanna a ghabhann le cuid A. BEEP'. It is forever embedded in the mind of past pupils, and no matter how long ago you left it behind, hearing it again sends a shiver down your spine.

Irish Aural

But one clever, extreme procrastinator has found the time to jazz up the Irish Aural and take the doom out of hearing that dreaded line.

David Wallace, a Leaving Certificate student from St. Munchin's College in Limerick, took time out of his busy study schedule to create this funky dance remix. With undertones of Damo & Ivor's tune 'Everybody's Drinkin' this would definitely bring welcome stress relief to the Aural were it to be played in exam halls although the chances of that are slim to none.
