Galway Senator Doesn't Know How To Pronounce Wi-Fi

Galway Independent Senator Fidelma Healy Eames has stood before the Seanad, asking the house that when they go into a restaurant, do they have the 'wiffy code'.

 

In worringly related news, the Seanad voted this week to pass Lorraine Higgins's Internet Safety Bill.

It is odd that Senator Eames is unable to pronounce wifi, as she is a veteran of previous Twitter trends. She has previously brought the term 'fraping' before the houses of the Oireachtas, and caused widespread internet reaction to her assertion that the passing of the Marriage Referendum may lead to a ban on Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day, asserting that these celebrations are banned in some states in the United States:
