Porn actor James Deen has been dropped by a number of film studios following allegations by a number of women of rape and sexual assault.
Deen has been somewhat of a poster boy for the industry over the last number of years but a few days ago his ex-girlfriend Stoya posted on the Twitter, accusing Deen of raping her in the past.
He has responded to the allegations, saying:
I want to assure my friends, fans and colleagues that these allegations are both false and defamatory.
I respect women and I know and respect limits both professionally and privately.
However other pornstars have come out in support of Stoya, including another ex-girlfriend of Deen's, Joanna Angel.
He’s dead on the inside and dead to me . He’s literally the worst person I’ve ever met . That’s all I’ll say for now #solidaritywithstoya

Meanwhile, Tori Lux wrote a piece for the Daily Beast in which she alleges that she was also sexually assaulted by Deen. She claims that he told her to sniff his testicles and when she said no, he grabbed her by the throat and pushed her down:
He proceeded to straddle my chest, pinning down my arms with his knees. Then, he raised his hand high above his head, swinging it down and hitting me in the face and head with an open palm.
Another woman, Ashely Fires, claims that Deen tried to assault her on a film set.
Despite his protests of innocence, the hashtag #SolidaritywithStoya trended worldwide last night. In light of the allegations, porn studios such as Kink and Evil Angels have cut all ties with Deen.
