With news that 'Charlie Bit My Finger' topped the list YouTube have released of the top ten most viewed YouTube videos in Ireland, we thought we'd set the record straight and offers a critic's choice of some of the Irish videos that deserve to be right up there.
There were a couple of Irish offerings from Sminky Shorts and the like but here are a few more who were unlucky to miss out.
1. The Castletown Donkey Derby
The obvious choice.
2. Daddy I failed the driving test
They should have given YouTube a little something to sweeten them up.
3. Ah here, leave it out
Exactly my reaction when I heard this hadn't made the list.
4. Someone's getting lucky tonight
Fair play him.
5. And it's YOU Pat Kenny!
With your pontificating and your moralising.
6. Fuck you Deputy Stagg
Paul Gogarty is a big miss to the house, to be fair.
7. If songs were real
The Republic of Telly made the list for another video but in my opinion, this is their best work.
