I was going to headline this 'Massive Fuck Up As Miss Universe Still Somehow A Thing' but sure lookit it's Christmas and I thought I'd leave the anger at home for a few days.
Miss Universe is indeed still a thing somehow and last night it had its most controversial ending ever as host Steve Harvey accidentally named the wrong winner. Harvey announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arévalo, as the champ only to later realise she was actually the first runner-up. The winner was Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, who then had to literally take the crown off Miss Colombia.
A late but great contender for the most cringeworthy moment of 2015.
