On a day that the majority of the population of Ireland will be celebrating, the cute moments of the week have had added another brilliant moment that will bring a smile to most people's faces.
Senator Katherine Zappone took the opportunity to propose to her partner Dr. Ann Louise Gilligan while she was being interviewed on RTE News. You can watch the brilliant moment here thanks to the quick work of their social media team.
